Tickled Pinks Stamps Sponsors Paper Sundaes - Valentines

Hi everyone!

Looking for my La-La Land CHA Release post?? CLICK HERE or keep scrolling down.

Today, Tickled Pink Stamps are sponsoring Paper Sundaes and I have the pleasure of being Paper Sundaes guest designer for this challenge, which is VALENTINES

I am using not ONE, but TWO of the fabulous new Gods and Goddesses from Tickled Pink Stamps. I merged them together so that it looks like Apollo Lestat is protecting his love - Aphrodite Willow

My papers are from the It's the Little Things collection by Fancy Pants and I've matted and machine stitched them to black and white cardstock. The flowers are from Prima marketing and the ribbon is from my stash.

Thanks for dropping by

La-la Land Crafts - CHA Release Showcase

Good morning bloggers!! Today is release day for the NEW stamps by La-La Land Crafts. The FABULOUS design team are showcasing each of the new stamps for your pleasure. Check out these CUTIES over on the La-La Land Crafts blog, where you'll also find the full list of DT members showcasing today!!

My card is .... yes.. it's a BOY card!! Not something you see very often on this gal's blog, lol. This is the wonderful SITTING LUKA, and the best part is that he's got something to sit on!! YAY!!! We have some amazing new accessory stamps to coordinate with our sweet Marci and Luka.

As always, my chosen colouring medium is copic markers -
Luka - Skin: E000, 00, 01, 11. R20. Hair: C3, 5, 7, 9. Shirt/Hat/Shoes: YG21, 23, 25. E30, 31, 53.
Fountain: C1, 3, 5, 7. BG000, 11.

The papers I've used are so old I can't even remember the name of them - but I will look them up later and fill in the details. They've been machine stitched onto cardstock. To embellish I've added some half pearls and flossed buttons - 'cause flowers just didn't look right, haha! ;)

Thank you so much for visiting. Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT have created - you'll find the full list over on the La-La land Crafts blog!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge - Handmade Embellishments

Morning all! Wow, yesterday was one long day... and I saw all 24hrs of it! So much for my smooth journey, what could go wrong - DID!! Well I'm here in Anaheim ready for my first CHA experience -  EXCITED!!

Anywhoooo.. we have a new challenge for you over on Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge. Our theme this week is Handmade Embellishments - my favourite challenge ever... NOT!! lol. Boy do I struggle with this theme! So I decided to make some flowers out of patterned papers and add card candy centres.

On my card I've used one of the new Goddesses - Aphrodite - and coloured her with copic markers. My papers are .. erm.. ok, I'm drawing a complete blank here .. but anyway... I've machine stitched them onto brown and white cardstock. I used Whiff of Joy dies to cut the flowers and added some card candy or Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to the centres. The sentiment comes with the stamp.

Don't forget to hop over to the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge blog to see what delicious creations the rest of the DT have come up with - and to find out what the prize for this challenge is!

Have a great day

DT Whiff of Joy - Bon Voyage :D

Hi everyone. Today I am sharing a card I made using one of the Travel stamps from Whiff of Joy. As I am off to the CHA convention tomorrow I felt it appropriate to have a travel themed card today, lol.

This little guy is called Waiting for the Train. In hindsight I should have used Catching the Plane.. or Around the World, as  a train is about the only means of transport I won't be taking in the next few days!!

My papers are BG Indie Bloom, and I've matted and stitched them to both white and kraft cardstock. The luscious ribbon is also from Whiff of Joy, it's a beautiful satin ribbon that comes in many colours - you can find it HERE.

To embellish I've added some half pearls

Ok, well I had better get myself off to bed for some sleep. I am packed, my email confirmations have been printed and I have my kindle/iPod charged up for the long journey!

Have a great night.. or evening if you're to the left of me ;)
