Waltzingmouse Stamps October Release Previews - Day 2

It's Day Two of Waltzingmouse Stamps October 2014 New Release previews.

This month we have three fun Christmas and Winter themed stamp sets. We also have two new Dies - Pretty Panels #1 and Pretty Panels #2

Over the next 2 days our design team will continue to preview the new products for October. All of these products will be available to purchase in the store on October 28th, when we will also be having our blog hop.

Yesterday we showcased the new Flurries stamp set and our two new dies, Pretty Panel #1 and Pretty Panel #2 and today we are previewing Jolly old Elf.

I just love traditional christmas colours and both of my cards reflect this. I kept them very clean and simple, using embossing folders for texture.

I stamped the stockings with distress inks and cut them out with a scissors. I 'hung' them on some red/green bakers twine, mounting them on 3D foam dots.

On my second card I stamped Santa with distress ink and heat embossed some snowflakes with clear embossing powder, I then added some pearl pen to the centre of each snowflake.

You can see the rest of the Design Team's creations over on the Waltzingmouse Inspiration Blog.

All products will be available to purchase from the Waltzingmouse Stamps Store on October 28th, from approx 7.15pm GMT.

Crafting Ireland Guest Feature - Waltzingmouse Stamps

Halloween Card and Treat Bag

Hi! Today I am sharing a Halloween Card and Treat Bag set I made for Crafting Ireland featuring  Waltzingmouse Stamps Boo and Friends & Peek a Boo Sentiments

The card measures 4.25" x 5.5" and the papers I've used are 'Enchanted' by Authentique. I've matted them with black and orange cardstock. I cut the spiderweb circle with nestabilities and mounted my ghost on 3D foam. I added some Spiderweb corners and some Eerie bats to embellish.
Copics markers used - C3, D5,C7, C9

The treat bag is simply a cellophane bag cut down to size. I used the same patterned papers as on the card. I cut a strip of stripey paper about 2" deep, folded it in half, slipped it over the top of the bag and stapled it closed. Then I used nestabilities scalloped circles and classic circles for the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment, from Peek-a-Boo Sentiments with 3D foam and added a bat to tie it in with the card.

WOW! Embossing - One Stamp, Two Ways

Hi! It's my turn to share some WOW! Embossing DT inspiration with you.
Our theme this month is One Stamp - Different Looks

I made 2 cards using one of the butterfly stamps from the With Love clear stamp set.

On the first card I used Clear Gloss powder on white card and sponged the background with Victorian Velvet distress ink.
Tip: Rub over the butterflies with a damp cloth to remove any ink residue.
I matted it onto white card and used 3D foam to adhere it to the card base.
I stamped the sentiment with Archival black ink and distressed the edges with the Victorian Velvet.
Finally, I added some liquid pearls randomly to the card front.

For my second card I used the butterfly as a focal image.
I stamped it out onto smooth card and coloured it, to match my papers, using copic markers.
Purples - V000, V02, V04
Green - YG21, YG23, YG25
I cut  the image out with Lacy Circles nestabilities, adhered it to the card with 3D foam and added some liquid pearl around the circle and under the sentiment.

Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday - Sketch!

Hi!! Have you seen the new Stamping Bella store???? It's fabarooni, go have a look!!!

This week the Bella Babes had another great sketch to follow along to

and this is my take on it.

My card features Uptown Girl Faith the Fairy. She's been coloured up with copic markers and a little stickles added to her bling.

The papers are from a 6x6 pack that I found in my stash. I'm not sure of the brand as the front was gone off of it. To embellish I added some Cherry Blossom Branches, Cherry Blossom Flowers, Prima flowers, ribbon and a metal charm.

Check out the rest of the Bella Babes makes over on the blog. Don't forget to drop in Stamping Bella Facebook page for all the latest news, and the SB Sisterhood group to share your wonderful makes with us!!
